About Resistograph Testing
We administer visual, sound & resistograph testing in timber piles to help find interior decay and assess the strength of timber piles.
Resistograph testing provides precision testing in specific locations addressed in a timber pile report.
A specialized 1/10 inch drill bit is drilled through the pile. When the drill bit has no resistance, it flat-lines on the chart, meaning interior decay has been found.

Nine years ago, Nate began his work in pile and seawall construction of Malibu beachfront homes under coastal construction expert, Pacific Shoreline.
In addition to years of hands on experience repairing piles, he has been involved in progressing the industry, helping develop a patented column jacket that offers stronger and quicker pile repair.
